Is it too late to say Happy New Year? Time sure is flying past and we haven’t been in touch with many of you for way too long. We hope you’re all well.
We’ve had a few challenges in the past year but we’re doing OK here now. It’s been mighty dry though and we’ve been doing a rain dance, hoping Winter might still come before Spring turns to Summer again!
We’re getting ready to play our 3rd annual Memorial DCWC Benefit House Concert in memory of my Dad, Ken Harris. This year it’s on Saturday March 1st, 5pm to 9pm.
Dad would have turned 89 on February 26th. He’d be glad to know we’re still celebrating his birthday and life itself. This will once again be a benefit to raise money for a hospital in Nepal that my sister and brother-in-law have been very involved in supporting. Below is the invitation my sister Jeanette has sent out. Some of you may have already gotten it from her. If not, please open the 2014HouseConcertFlyer for details and RSVP to my sister at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks to all of you who have supported this worthy cause in the past! We’re really looking forward to it. We’ve been working on some new songs and dusting off some old favorites.
We hope to see you in Oakland at Jeanette and Steve’s house on March 1st!
